Hi, I'm Ajit I have applied for a job of Angular position. i think I am a great fit for the position. As a Front-End Engineer I have 7 years of experience in Angular, having built various apps like dashboards and mobile apps using Ionic. I’m a top 70 Angular contributor. I have already found a few ways in which I can improve the product like improving SVG icon flickering, optimizing unnecessary redirections, and addressing UI issues like unclickable backgrounds. You can checkout these in this video drive.google.com/file/d/1OpUxZamXcNLDzkGSo3_DHxYeI2Cb1NaU/view?usp=sharing. Let me know if you need a detailed video with detailed explanations.
I really liked your company because of the transparency in the applicant handbook. I have also applied on the website with the same email. Looking forward to the possibility of collaborating with you! Resume: drive.google.com/file/d/1QD78fodbLnMwR_Q9kH2pEsvE7_P19neV/view?usp=sharing

Awesome, thanks Ajit, I've made a note against your application for our HR team to see letting them know the extra effort you went to, to reach out!
hey @slashequip its been two weeks I have not heard from anyone I would love to know the result of my application. Would be great if you can tell something.
Hey Ajit, I can see your application is still awaiting review, I know how our HR team is very busy. We will get to it, and sorry about the delay so far.
Hey Sam! In a similar situation to Ajit, I had actually applied for the Core team earlier this year and never heard back from you guys. It's like the application went straight into the void haha.
I'd be thrilled to have the chance to chat with you. Let me know when you're available and we can get it set up.
Hey Steven, I can see we reviewed your application at the time but decided not to move forward - we aim to reply to everyone to let them know if they have been successful or not - but I'm not sure what happened here as it looks like we didn't follow up - truly sorry about that, not the experience we want any of our applicants to have. I'll take a look into that further to make sure nothing is slipping through our process.
Sam, sorry to say this out loud, but the vacancies posted by Hospitable look suspicious. It seems like you are only looking for one developer for a year round and ignoring everyone else. I got the feeling that you post vacancies just for advertisement or something. The automated response I received months ago was:
"
Dear Moe,
We appreciate your interest in the Product Engineer, All Teams (Laravel) position at Hospitable.com. We have reviewed your application, and we regret to inform you that it has not been selected for further consideration.
The competition for a job (especially remote positions) is always strong (we often go through 500+ applications for one offer), and we often have to make difficult choices between many high-caliber candidates.
We wish you every success with your job search and thank you again for your interest in our company.
Sincerely,
"
Sorry you feel that way Moe. We hire 1 engineer in approximately 1600 applications. We are not a company that hires 100s and then lays them off a year later, we hire sustainably. So maybe you are right we are looking for the one or two rare, exceptional engineers and there are not that many of them around.
Every application is reviewed by a human, given you brought it up, in your case your application didn't stand out among the rest, there was nothing stand out about the cover letter or the answers provided. If you check our application handbook linked the in the job descriptions we give plenty of advice on how to wow our team.
We are looking for people who want to stand out among the crowd and can show us they really want to work at Hospitable and not just 'get a job', that does require effort, if that is suspicious that's fine by me.
