I found myself thinking about how the subscription model has permeated our daily lives. How many paid subscriptions do you think you have? Everything counts (email providers, vpn, newsletters, newspapers, sponsorships, entertainment, course, etc.)? I should have about 12 non-essential and I think that is kind of crazy.
I have around 10-12 as well. Trying to keep the costs down to be honest, but it's getting crazier by the day 🫣
It really is insidious how much they’ve changed how people purchase things.
I want to get away from the SaaS for everything model tbh. Where I can I will use Coolify and OSS products that I own and can manage, keeping costs under control.
It's super easy to suddenly find $$$ a month and not know where it's going.
