What was your biggest pet peeve or, alternatively, the thing that set someone apart that you saw when reading all those HypeSheets?

A HypeSheet written for the specific job is painfully obvious. It references details in the job listing and how the candidate fits into them. What excites them about the job specifically. How their background will be a value to the demands of the job.

The really great ones also find the right tone. If they've researched me a bit they're then able to dial it in towards being less stuffy, less corporate, though not all the way to yolo. The tone is overall less important though then that the info is specific and of course that you have relevant skills/experience.

Writing the HypeSheet will actually often give you a good idea yourself on if you're a good fit for the job. If you're honest with yourself as you go are you having to fudge your skills/experience a bit for what was listed or do you fit it like a glove truly.
