I am looking for new projects that I work and get paid.
Could you give me some helps or project?

As the creator of Shift, my recommendation would be to become an "expert" at Laravel upgrades.

There are so many Laravel applications out there and many are outdated. While I do offer "Human Shifts", I don't have the capacity to upgrade them all and often turn away work.

You could use Shift as a "force multiplier" to do the work - either transparently or white-label.

Are you ever hiring for Shift? As someone who's used laravel since 5, I'd love to work on projects like it

No. I've contracted a few people over the years, including Jess Archer. But I decided a while back not to grow a company/team for Shift. In addition, while I'm a great pair programmer, I'm no manager.

If there was one thing you could change quickly (like magic ✨) in the Laravel Shift codebase, what would it be?

A few years ago, Jess and I wrote an integrated testing layer for Shift. Kind of like Laravel has it's own testing layer.

Unfortunately, all of the older Shifts are tested with heavy mocking. It's such a pain anytime I open a test and see its an "old style" test. I wish I could snap my fingers and have them all be the "new style".
