Do you have a roadmap in mind for the project?
Some feedback:
- The regions page could have a map integration, with a counter to how many dishes each region has.
- The dishes should have their own pages, and maybe could contain their recipes. 🤔

Absolutely, both are great ideas @kristofdombi
The first step is to gather many more dishes (there are so many!) and categorize them properly, so that people can easily pick specific ingredients or see if a dish is vegetarian, for instance.
Each dish will have its own dedicated page with extra information and possibly links for further exploration, like recipes.
I'm also going to completely redesign the regions page, adding some general information about each region (and maybe even typical wines, which could deserve a section of their own).

The hope is to make it useful for friends and people I know who come to visit and have questions about "what to eat" rather than "where to go." 😄
I'd advise to consider sub-regions too. Some foods may only be specific to one province or geographic are like some food is different in Romagna from Emilia
