pinkary’s feed just got a lot better. @MrPunyapal and i just came up with this idea to add more context to posts on your feed timeline by showing the immediate parent and its root. here’s the result 🤌🏻

i studied this, and it’s just like twitter… you always see the context of what you’re commenting on…

It feels like on Pinkary there are more replies being shown than on Twitter but that's probably because on Twitter you only see the ones from people you follow.

Is there a limit to the depth? For example, for your reply on @michaeldyrynda, I see your post, Michael's post and your reply to that.

I believe the number of users influences our perception of this. Since Twitter has a significantly larger user base, we notice it less because there’s a constant stream of content from many other people.

Plus we can further tweak it, by improving the feed algorithm as to what is relevant to the user, then it will reduce the amount of time the root post is seeming to appear. Either way it's a step in the right direction.
